What is Program Kartu Prakerja?

Kartu Prakerja program is a training scholarship program aimed at improving work competence and entrepreneurship. This program is not only intended for job seekers but also for those who are already employed or laborers who want to enhance their skills or competence, as well as workers who have been terminated from their jobs, including micro and small business owners.

What are the eligibilities for Kartu Prakerja beneficiaries?

You can apply for Kartu Prakerja if you are a job seeker, a worker/laborer who has been laid-off, or a worker/laborer who needs to improve their work competencies, such as furloughed workers and non-wage-earning workers, including micro and small business owners. In summary, all Indonesian citizens aged 18 (eighteen) to 64 (sixty-four) years who are not pursuing formal education are eligible to register.

However, if you hold any of the following positions, you are not eligible to register or become a recipient of Kartu Prakerja:

Government officials
Leaders or members of Regional Representative Council (DPRD)
Civil servants
Indonesian National Army personnel (TNI)
Members of the Indonesian National Police
Village heads and village officials.
Directors, commissioners, or supervisory board Members of state-owned enterprises (BUMN) or regional-owned enterprises (BUMD).
In addition, only a maximum of 2 (two) National ID Number (NIK) from the same Family Card (Kartu Keluarga) are allowed to be registered as Kartu Prakerja beneficiaries. Therefore, do make sure that there are only a maximum of 2 (two) members of your household who are Kartu Prakerja beneficiaries!

What are the steps to enroll for Kartu Prakerja?

Follow these steps to register:

Create an account by entering your email address and password.
Verify your identity by providing your 16-digit National ID Card (KTP) number, 16-digit Family Card (KK) number, and date of birth.
Fill in your personal information.
Upload a photo of your electronic ID card (e-KTP).
Perform a face scan by blinking your eyes.
Answer questions about your reasons for joining Kartu Prakerja.
Provide information about the preferred training and skills.
Verify your active mobile phone number.
Complete the registration statement according to your condition.
Take the Aptitude Test (Tes Kemampuan Dasar, TKD).

How to access my Prakerja account?

To log in to your Prakerja account, you can follow the steps below:

Open the website www.prakerja.go.id/masuk
Enter the email address and password of your registered account.
Verify your account by entering the OTP (One-Time Password) code sent to your email.
Enter the 6-digit OTP code.
Congratulations! You have successfully logged in to your Prakerja account!

When will the next batch of Kartu Prakerja be available?

You can check the opening of new batch on your Prakerja account dashboard or you can also check on the official social media of the Prakerja Program, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn. Make sure to follow the official Prakerja social media accounts!

What should I do if I am unable to register for a Prakerja account?

Ensure that you register using your own personal information, which matches your ID card (KTP) data. Prepare an active email, NIK (ID card number), KTP (ID card), KK (family card) number, active phone number, and complete the facial scan by blinking your eyes. Additionally, complete the aptitude test to finalize your registration. If you are unable to register for Prakerja because your NIK is already registered, it indicates that you have previously registered for the program. Please make sure to check your email inbox and search for the keyword "Prakerja" to identify which account has been previously registered. Furthermore, you can click on "Forgot Password" and enter the registered NIK to proceed.

How can I correctly fill in the address data?

If you encounter difficulties during the registration process due to an incorrect address according to Dukcapil (Population Administration Office) data, please verify the address you entered and ensure it exactly matches the "Address" field on your ID card (KTP). Please pay attention to punctuation marks and avoid including additional details such as RT, RW, or sub district/village information.

What can I do to ensure successful face verification?

Make sure to follow these guidelines:

Make sure your face is well-lit, avoiding blurry or dark environments.
Keep your face in a straight and upright position without tilting.
Ensure that your face is clearly visible without any accessories like glasses or masks.
Blink your eyes during the face verification process.
Face verification does not require your ID card (KTP).
Ensure that there's no one around you when you do the face verification.

Can I modify the submitted personal data?

If your account was registered in the previous year, you have the option to update your registered personal data if there are any changes. Once you log in, you will be prompted to confirm if you need to make any updates to your personal information. If updates are required, make sure to provide your personal data according to the updated information on your ID card (KTP).

What should I do if I am unable to log in to my Prakerja account?
